NYSERDA’s Multifamily Performance Program provides construction and performance incentives ranging from $700 to $3,500 per unit to multifamily building owners to obtain a comprehensive energy audit and to install cost-effective measures that will improve the energy performance of their buildings by at least 15% over current levels. Building owners must contract with an energy consultant from NYSERDA’s approved Building Solutions Provider Network to conduct the energy audit, guide them in selecting and planning work scope items, and provide technical support throughout the project to ensure that the necessary steps are followed to meet all program requirements.
