Weatherization Preservation Plus (WAP P+)
Overview
The WAP P+ initiative invests HTFC funds in buildings in selected publicly supported multifamily housing to make cost-effective, comprehensive renovations including energy efficiency, health and safety upgrades. The program leverages resources from Weatherization and NYSERDA programs, HUD and USDA in buildings where a scope of work beyond WAP-eligible energy or health and safety measures is needed.

This program is restricted to properties for which the NYS HTFC is the Performance Based Contract Administrator selected by HUD and HCR, based on a risk score.
