MCE Multifamily Program
Overview
MCE’s multifamily programs offer incentives for energy efficiency, electrification, and health and safety measures installed in multifamily buildings within MCE’s service territory. Through these programs, AEA provides no-cost energy assessments and connects property owners to incentives for energy and water-saving measures for both common areas and tenant units.
Program Benefits
The Multifamily Energy Savings (MFES) Program provides incentives to market rate and affordable properties for common area, exterior, and in-unit energy efficiency upgrades. Income-qualified properties are eligible for the Low Income Families and Tenants (LIFT) Program, which provides up to $1,200 per unit for in-unit energy efficiency measures as well as additional incentives for electrification upgrades.
