Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements Program (BAMBE)
Overview
Since 2013, the Bay Area Multifamily Building Enhancements (BAMBE) Program has assisted multifamily (MF) properties in planning improvements designed to save 10% or more of a building’s energy and water usage by offering no-cost energy consulting and $750 per unit in cash rebates to help pay for the upgrades.
In 2020, BAMBE introduced the new Clean Heating Pathway that incentivizes MF properties to switch from gas fueled equipment to cleaner and high efficient electric technologies. Learn more here!
