Weatherization Assistance Program (CA)
The Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) in California is a whole-building program to improve energy efficiency in low-income properties, administered by the Department of Community Services and Development (CSD). Since the implementation of the multifamily WAP protocol in California in 2011, AEA has been providing WAP energy audits and technical assistance to income-qualified properties. AEA is capable of not only providing the energy audit and associated TREAT energy model, but also detailed specifications, construction administration, and quality assurance and verification of installed energy savings measures.
