We provide in-person training at our learning facilities in Manhattan, the Bronx and in Emeryville, California. Two state-of-the-art facilities in the Bronx provide students with a wide range of opportunities for classroom and hands-on training.  AEA’s Energy Management Training Center is also a working lab for innovations and developments in sustainable energy resources and renewable technology. We also offer courses at participating Weatherization Training Centers across the country, and through our distance learning partners.

AEA educators and trainers are recognized as some of the very best in the field, with experience in energy auditing and design, workscope and specification development, project management, quality assurance, managing and developing programs, and related subjects.  AEA trainers are skilled in communicating effectively with adult learners at all levels.

A leading authority on multifamily energy efficiency, one of the nation’s first BPI affiliates, and a US Department of Energy-funded National Weatherization Training Center, AEA has been instrumental in developing standards, curriculum and best practices that underlie the knowledge, skills and abilities workers require to achieve energy efficiency goals in buildings.
